Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can severe Nausea Along With Vomiting Be Treated?
I have had a lot of nausea and throwing up over the last several months and it appears to be getting worse. There is no pattern to it - sometimes when I first get up, sometimes later in the morning, and sometimes at night. I may go for 3 or 4 days and not throw up and then have to throw up several times in a short period of time. Sometimes I have pain below my rib cage and sometimes I feel like my food is right at the top of my throat after eating. I have lots of indigestion and some acid reflux. I have been on acid reflux medication for several years. Sometimes I have diahreah and sometimes I have mild constipation. I have also noticed increased belching. It s starting to interfere with daily living.
You can take tablet unienzyme and omez tablet. Drink more water, at least 3 liters daily. Take 2 glasses of water before going for bowel and take a glass of warm milk at bed time. If constipation continues then take a spoon of isabgol soaked in water at night. It can be repeated if required, Take green leafy vegetable regularly. Avoid having non-veg food frequently.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash,
